Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi invites visitors on an extraordinary journey through the origins of the universe, the richness of life on Earth, and the natural heritage of the Arabian Peninsula.
Located in the Saadiyat Cultural District, the museum spans 35,000 square meters. Designed by Mecanoo, its striking form draws inspiration from desert rock formations.
View rare meteorites from outer space and discover exceptional dinosaur fossils, including the world-renowned Tyrannosaurus rex “Stan.” Walk through immersive recreations of Abu Dhabi’s prehistoric landscapes. See fossils of ancient marine creatures that once swam in the waters covering this region millions of years ago.
Unlike traditional museums, this attraction offers interactive displays. Touch real meteorites that fell from space and come face-to-face with T-rex “Stan,” one of the most complete and best-preserved T-rex fossils ever discovered. Interactive screens explain evolution, climate change, and biodiversity in engaging ways.
