Located in the iconic Saadiyat Cultural District, the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi invites visitors on an extraordinary journey through time –  from the origins of the universe to the richness of life on Earth and the natural heritage of the Arabian Peninsula.

Designed by the award-winning architectural studio Mecanoo, the museum spans 35,000 sqm and features a striking form inspired by desert rock formations and the elemental patterns of life. Inside, breathtaking galleries bring together rare meteorites, exceptional dinosaur fossils –  including the world-famous Tyrannosaurus rex “Stan”  –  and immersive recreations of Abu Dhabi’s prehistoric landscapes.
